Black forest

Monday, October 3rd, 2005

Eurotrip2005/Germany/DSCF1344.JPGThe second day was much more fun. We entered the black forest, wondered in some small villages and did a short walking route in the forest. At the evening we found on our way a nice zimmer. We spent the rest of the evening at a city called Strassburg which is located near the border with France.
The next day we did a very nice way in the blackforest to lake Konstanz and we slept in a youth hostel in Lindau. We went to see Lindau (which is a island connected to the mainland by a bridge). Unfortunately, all shops were closed that day. Efrat said it was their independence day, in which the Germans have dinners with their families and think about what they did.

I have arrived to Germany, took the car and drove straight to Munich Central Train Station (Huptbanhof) to meet Efrat. We walked to see Oktoberfest (a beer festival). It is like a luna-park but with a lot of beer. It was raining and we decided to start our way to the black forest. We spent the first night in a youth hostel in Stuttgart. We hoped for a better weather for the next day.

Almost all preperations for the trip are complete. While I am abroad, I’ll do my best to keep posting here on a regular basis so all of you can make sure that I am still alive.

If you want to have quite a good approximation of where I am, you can check the trip schedule in my wiki.

And mom, don’t post Polish comments here. 🙂
